The Original Manifesto-Art-Prints were and are an important part of Hundertwasser's environmental protection strategy. Hundertwasser has created, produced and dedicated the Original Manifesto Art-Prints to various international organizations, mostly environmental organizations. These were distributed by the organizations that were able to use the considerable proceeds for their activities.
An Original Manifesto-Art-Print is an artwork that has been developed and designed by Hundertwasser in the course of the printing process. Therefore, it has its own work number. The end product is the reproduced Original Manifesto-Art-Print.
